Henry Shevlin is a philosopher at Google DeepMind and the University of Cambridge, where he works on machine consciousness, human–AI relationships, AI ethics, and the moral status of artificial minds. His research explores how we should understand mentality in AI systems and what ethical implications may follow if increasingly sophisticated artificial systems come to exhibit mind-like capacities.
